I can see David's point, but is there any other list whose  subscribers have 
so much experience of towers & bells? Sadly I  think not. In my opinion (in 
the case of towers), if you can ring bells for an  hour, you can ring them all 
day long. A structural engineer may be  able to shed light on this.
