The only recorded Rudhall Bells in Sussex according to George Elphick "Sussex Bells and Belfries" are:
Maresfield - back six Charles & John Rudhall 1787, two trebles of eight by M&S.
Rottingdean one bell 1791John Rudhall
Sompting one bell 1795 John Rudhall
Old Shoreham one bell 1800 John Rudhall
The 1777 ring of eight at St Nicholas Brighton were by Thomas Rudhall. These no longer exist. The present ring of ten being provided by Gillett & Johnston in 1922.
Transport could have been mainly by sea?
