For the record, the weights given by Eayre & Smith after removal from the
tower were: 6-2-3, 6-3-26, 8-2-18, 9-3-25, 12-3-21, 19-1-7.

The old ring were:
1. Thomas Bilbie I, Chewstoke 1732 32¾" 6-2-0
2. Roger Purdue, Bristol 1630 33½" 6-3-26
3. Roger Purdue, Bristol 1630 37" 8-2-20
4. Roger Purdue, Bristol 1630 39" 10-0-0
5. Thomas Mears II, Whitechapel 1821 43¾" 12-3-20
6. Thomas Mears II, Whitechapel 1821 49¾" 19-1-10 (E flat).
1,3 & 4 are supposed to be going to East Rudham. 2nd is at Manor Fm,
Wantage. 5th is still available. Tenor was recast in 2004 - into two light
rings of eight (by Richard Bowditch). One will be hung later this year (more
details soon), the other is homeless as yet.
