War Memorials

Another to add to the list is Handsworth, Sheffield (Taylor 1920). There is a large war memorial by the main gate with a very long list of names of those from Handsworth who died in the great war; at that time Handsworth was more like a village than part of Sheffield so a very large percentage of those who signed up must have been killed.
