Yes, it was insured for £2m and, hopefully, this is enough.

The locals seem to have rolled up their sleeves and got on with things 
as best they can.  First rough estimate is 2 years, so expect 3+ and be 
pleasantly surprised if it is less! The thatched pub opposite the 
church had a fire not so long ago and had reopened a short while before 
the church caught fire - a sign that things can be done!

This has brought out the best in ringers.  Offchurch were straight on 
the phone to the locals offering their bells for a Radford Practice on 
a night other than their own.  This means that the Radford band can 
ring together and, importantly, work with the 2 learners that they had 
started to train shortly before the fire. Well done, I say!
