Rainhill is part of the district of St Helens, Merseyside.
There were a number of foundries in the St Helens area who produced
bells for ships. The only one left is St Helens bell foundry, now owned
by T.M.Utley Ltd. They are currently located about 2 miles from
Rainhill.

Maybe one of these foundries was located in Rainhill.
