I know that the ones in Sherborne, Oxford, Lincoln and
Exeter are not old enough (in their current castings, at
least) but it did say "and other places". But is there even
any truth in the story? Does anyone know whether bells from
Tournai were removed and brought to this country, presumably
during Henry VIII's brief occupation of Tournai in 1513-19?
