Mind you, if it had been Chicago, it would of course been next door to the largest and finest existing G&J carillon.
 
Riverside Church NYC - also a feature in Jill's book - now of course has only the 16 largest G&J bells. The 56 smallest have been twice replaced, first by Van Bergen and again in more recent years by Whitechapel.  The whole Park Avenue / Riverside saga is told in fascinating detail in Jill's book.
