The following has just been posted by Doug Nichols on our ANZAB list and I
thought it would be of interest to members of this list also.
In doing so, Doug has asked me to stress that there should be no lobbying
for Holy Trinity at the
moment: such action might antagonise the parish and upset our negotiations
for access.

A few months ago I completed a catalogue of all the photographs
hanging on the walls in the ringing room of Holy Trinity Church,
Hobart. I did this in order to submit it to the architect who is
preparing a Conservation Management Plan for the building now that it
is no longer a functioning church.
Having compiled the catalogue and given printed copies to the
architect, the Hobart City Council (who commissioned the CMP), the
diocese and the parish that now manages the Holy Trinity building, it
is essentially a public document. So I thought it might be of general
interest.

(Note the connection between items 6 and 31 and the story on the
back page of the latest Ringing Towers about Rupert Richardson's
diary.)
Regarding the future of the collection, and of the bells and our
access to them, this is something that is still in the discussion
stage. I shall report any news as it develops.
