No one ever seems to come up with Serial Numbers,  are these ever cast into 
these bells? If they are, it would be so much easier  to sort them out. I have

I really don't think that this bell is by G&J - I have seen about  10 of 
these over the last 20 odd years - they also appear regularly on  ebay. They sound 
awful and are probably made from brass. SCC is a common  engraving - I saw 
this on two ex-fire engine bells which I saw in London about  15 years ago.
