No indeed. King George V and Queen Mary visited Whitechapel on 28th March 1919 for the casting of Westminster Abbey trebles (of 8).
And of course they visited Gillett & Johnston to see the Park Avenue Carillon on May 12th 1925 - again with Queen Mary, who played a tune on the keyboard of a chime which was on view.
