I can think of a couple of others. The national 12 bell competition
shield, the Leicester DG striking competition shield and the Roses
competition shield. There is also on in All Saints Loughborough atop a
bronze tablet recording the names of band memebers.

The Channel Islands district of the W&P possess a shield cast in bell
metal as the trophy for the District striking competition. It was a gift
from Paul Taylor of the Loughborough Foundry in 1981. It was said at the
time to be one of only three in existence, cast of bell metal and the
trademark of Hugh Watts, master bell-founder of Leicester in the mid

Ours was obtained through Tony Wolstenholme of Alderney, who was
friendly with the Taylor family. He had it very nicely mounted on a
polished board in memory of his wife and it now has engraved silver
plates on the back listing the competition winners.
