The 1930 carillon tenor bell went to Goldthorpe RC church, then Uckfield,
and now Malta, so its in its fourth home.

There was a previous D bell cast in 1929. That too is well travelled for it
moved to Liverpool Mossley Hill St Barnabas, and is now the tenor at
Coggeshall, Essex.

Subject: [Bell Historians] Historic Taylor bell consecrated in Malta

>From the description, this seems to be the original bass bell of the Taylor
foundry carillon, after a rather roundabout journey. Can anyone confirm the
history described in the article?
