There are no Van Aerschodt bells of this date in Ran Clouston lists of foreign bells in Scotland.

I turned this up on eBay today,

could it really be one of the Cattistock bells from the carillon? the date is about right. So what of the fire there in 1940 that destroyed the carillon and top of the tower, did any of the bells survive?
Where ever it comes from £1000 for a 17" bell is a bit OTT. (Ok the casting looks quite detailed but even so)
