In his "Alphabetical Index of Minor Methods" Harold Chant wrote, in the entry for Navigation Bob (RW 1965, p.499), "One of the methods in the 15,120 peal at Wath-on-Dearne in 1816. William Finch, a Wath ringer, wrote out all 21 methods and callings in a notebook dated 1825."

Does anyone know the whereabouts of William Finch's notebook? I have already been in touch with Alan Glover and the notebook is not in the Central Council Library.

I would be grateful for any information.

Many thanks and best wishes, Tony
