I very much doubt your height is that stable as normal people are a few mm taller first thing in the morning, than they are in the evening,

You don't know if "6 feet" is accurate or an approximation.  If the former then the conversion is good.  I am six feet tall and I am 183cm tall (give or take a millimetre).
