Interesting. Tamsin Earthy learnt to ring as a teenager at my home tower,
Dursley in Gloucestershire, and rang several quarter peals. Not sure if she
still rings now.

Dear All,

For those interested, the Suffolk Guild "Fringe" (pre AGM discussion) is at
Stradbroke community centre this Saturday 6 April 2pm. The subject is "What
are Church Bells for?" Two speakers; Tamsin Earthy MSc (Heritage background)
and Basil Jenkins MA (Church background). 20mins each and then 20 mins
informed discussion. All welcome, not just Guild members.
