Dickon may be interested to know that there are two bells at St James
Church, St James (Holetown), Barbados, one hung in the church dated 1882,
and its 26" predecessor on display dated 1696.

CJP suggests that it is by William and Robert Cor.
It must be one of the earliest bells across the pond. Does anybody know
where the oldest bell over there is?
I don't know how the 1882 bell is hung nor who cast it. There seems to be a
small tower on the south side of the church. Some information on this bell
would be nice!
