I have had reason to look at a facsimile of the Leffler Manuscript which
lists the specifications of a number of English organs from around the
beginning of the 19th century to at least 1812 when a Miss Rodd was listed
as the organist at All Hallows, Lombard Street. (there are quite a few
female organists listed)

Among the organ specifications are a few cathedrals' bells, which may be of
interest. It is probably best to bear in mind that the A above middle C was
almost certainly not 444, and that the 'short' hundredweight i.e. 100lb were
almost certainly in use.
