And the noble and tuneful ring  in The Waterloo Tower, Quex Park (the finest ring of twelve in the Isle of Thanet) was rung on Saturday afternoon to commemorate the Battle from which the Tower took its name.

I was very happy to be able to chime the two bells at Cossall to begin 
the Waterloo 200th Memorial service yesterday.

It is an interesting thought that both the bells are old enough to have 
been heard by the people named on the memorial!
