[Bell Historians] Handbells

There is a set of handbells coming up for sale at an auction in Leyburn on Friday. The auctioneer's description, without a photo, is
 HANDBELLS A SET OF 10 BRONZE BELLS NUMBERED 6-15, WITH 'RW' CAST INSIDE EACH. 

 Does anyone know who the founder is likely to have been? Robert Wells?
