These bells were scrapped in 1951, the tenor being cracked. The church had already been closed for some years.
The bells were sold to Taylors and the proceeds were put towards the rehanging of the ten bells at Worcester All Saints. The old bells were photographed before they were broken up. The bells (an 18 cwt eight by Richard Sanders of Bromsgrove, 1706 – 7th recast in 1712) were notable for their inscriptions commemorating the battle victories of Duke of Marlborough.
The bellframe remains in the now empty tower and a couple of the old peal boards are (or were until recently) preserved in the church
