An American correspondent has inherited a smallish bell (12 inches diameter) with the markings "C K" and "1840" on the top of the bell, on either side of the tang.  "C K" does not match the name of any known American bellfounder, but the provenance of the bell suggests that it might have come from across the pond.  Any ideas from Over There?
