I think ringing was stopped due to the proximity of a hospital.

The person who taught me to ring (John Gilbert, Handsworth) rang for weddings there up until the 1960’s so it is only recently that they have been declared unringable. 

They are hung in a metal bell-frame which probably dates from 1913.

So the answer is almost certainly yes.

Were these bells rung full circle at the time of WW1 ?  Again it saves Alan Regin the task of finding out.
