[Bell Historians] Runcorn Bridge Bell

Below is a link to the removal of the Navigation Fog Bell from Runcorn
Bridge (aka Aethelfleda Bridge or Britannia Bridge), though it is about 1½
minutes before anything interesting happens. The founders’ name can be
clearly seen.

 

It is now on display at the Brindley Theatre, Runcorn.  There is a short
article on the bell, its history and the removal on p.246of the September
2019 edition (vol 9, no 6) of the L&NWR Society Journal.
