“Heaviest ring of four” is a moot point – none of the heavy ones have exact weights (and I don’t think there’s certainly about the weight for East Quantoxhead either). My guess – if the 46.5” diameter at Brough is right – that it will be considerably lighter than supposed.

 

So is the claim really a sufficient argument against augmentation?
