Brilliant work Martin. Already spent far too long browsing the info. The snapshots of every 10 years is fascinating. Well done ;-)
Cheers, Stuart

Subject: [Bell Historians] Great Rings Dove Events
Hello all
During this year I have been completing a project I started back in 2003 which is shared here for potential interest. This is a summary of what this research ist:
This Great Rings Dove Events Dataset shows specific events throughout the history of each tower that has, or ever had, a ring with a Tenor of 20 cwt or greater. It shows the number of bells in a ring and the date cast, founder and weight of the ring’s Tenor at each event’s date. It has been designed to be able to reflect how Dove would have looked in any given year i.e. the number in the ring and the weight of the Tenor.
The output for this is hosted on David Kelly’s Keltek Trust website (thanks again David) and can be found here:
http://www.keltektrust.org.uk/downloads.html
Please click on the “Dove Events” macro button first and read the Scoping document which gives a detailed description of what this is about and what is included.
As mentioned in the Scoping document, any queries, additions, corrections and amendments please send to martinsmith132 at hotmail.com <mailto:martinsmith132 at hotmail.com> . I am very keen to establish more history for the Towers within scope and of course any rings that I have inadvertently missed.
