[Bell Historians] R/W Ely cemetery

The Ely cemetery photo in this weeks RW back page reminded me of the
similarities between it and Newark Cemetery (see
https://www.newark.gov.uk/History.aspx ). This dates from 1855 and would be
almost a twin, with the plans by Bellamy & Hardy accepted, and Mr Pritchetts
(of Darlington) were runner up. One cannot help wonder if 'cribbing' took
place. The Newark cemetery has a Taylor bell of 1856, weighing 8.0.3 in G.
