Just checked Wikipedia – it’s Appleton. Originally had a Sheridan bell, c.1847, replaced by Murphy 1879

I do not have a Widnes, St Bede on my RC list, any clues as to correct name?

I have emailed David Potter asking about the ring at St Michael’s as Taylor’s web site implies there is only one bell.

Both these towers have recently appeared on John Taylors website.

Is the bell at St. Bede still John Murphy 1879 or was it replaced by M & S in 1929?

At St. Michael, presumably the 6 Blews 1878 bells still survive.

Would appreciate any information.

Regards,

David Sloman
