A very short report in the Cambridge Chronicle & Journal for 9th May 1823 p. 3.
"On Tuesday evening, the 29th ult. about eight o'clock, the tower of the church at Weston Colville, in this county, tumbled down; part falling upon the roof of the church, broke through and destroyed the seats and pews; the other part fell on the west side. Fortunately no person was near the church at the time.”
