[Bell Historians] Date touch history

No idea when the first was, but page 11 of the first edition of Bell News in
1881 had some 1881s of Stedman Triples.

There are many given in Bell News - often using a 'link' block to make it
work.

Does anyone know when the first date touch was rung?

There's nothing in the Ringing World index earlier than the 1990s but I was
ringing date touches in the 60s and we didn't invent the idea so I assume it
was much earlier.
