I have been through the Ringing Worlds from 1911 to 1919 methodically
recording all published compositions into Complib. The following referenced
performances appear to be false, so should be marked as such in Felstead
and Pealbase. I have already added and marked them as false on Bellboard.

1. T:Chesterfield, 10-Jun-1911, 5003 Double Norwich Court Bob Caters by

Felstead has 1, 2, 4, 6 & 9 recorded as false, but not 3 or 7. Pealbase has
1, 2, 4, 6, 8 & 9 recorded as false, but not 3, 5 or 7.

With respect to 5, John Pladdys 1974 letter to the RW reported the
composition as false, and provided his own arrangement which has been rung
a few times since. He also noted that a peal at Wednesbury on 17-Nov-1917
(RW1917-V12/370) used this composition (although he didn't say how he knew
it was the same composition - but might it be Association records rather
than an assumption). This Wednesbury peal is also not marked as false in
Felstead or Pealbase. I haven't added it to BellBoard yet either.

With respect to 7, I can't find any previous report of this composition and
peal being reported false.

I found many more false compositions without performance references, but
have no way of determining whether they have been rung, nor whether the
compositions above were rung again. All the true and false compositions
(and methods) published in the Ringing World in this period are included
within the Complib collections linked below:
