[Bell Historians] An Unusual Bell Wheel

Good evening all,

 

Any ideas please as to the likely date of the wheel shown in this picture.

 

It is part of the bell gear for a newly recorded single bell at the Church
of St Thomas of Canterbury, Worting, Basingstoke.  The bell, 28" in
diameter, was cast by Robert II Wells of Aldbourne, in 1787.  

Might the wheel be of the same date?  It has the 'air' of the 18th Century
about it.
