[Bell Historians] Possible origin & date of an anonymous bell?

The bell shown in the attached photo is located in a church in Canada, and carries no inscription.  Oral history suggests that it may have been made in the early 1700s, but there is no reliable documentation for it.  Originally it had a clapper staple; the holes in the top indicate that it was cut off and a headpiece was bolted in; but that has been lost as well.  The bell is approximately 2 feet in diameter and 2 feet tall.
Does its style suggest anything to any of you?
