Many thanks for both these donations, and please pass on my thanks to the Cherry Hinton ringers.  I can confirm that the £200 has arrived in our bank account.  Attached is a letter from the church which is sent to all donors to explain how the money will be spent.

I can report that fundraising is going very well.  The collection for Fliss's bell is gradually building up and her family are determined that her bell will be funded.  I have been applying for grants from a number of organisations and if this is reasonably successful we will be ready to sign orders for the work by the end of this summer.  The target is to have everything up and running by the middle of next year.

At our AGM on Tuesday 16th February, we agreed to donate £200 from tower funds to the St. Clement's ringing centre project (http://bells-of-stclements.scy.org.uk<http://bells-of-stclements.scy.org.uk/index.php/volunteering/how-to-donate>) to be put towards the cost of the treble bell in memory of Fliss Webster, former secretary of the Cambridge District and much missed friend of many in the Cherry Hinton band.
