[Cherry-hinton-ringers] Cherry Hinton carol services & reader - Sun 19 December

Hi All

Cherry Hinton Carol Services this year will be held on Sunday 19 December - in order to reduce numbers at any one service there will be 2 x carol services held in the church on that date as below:


  *   4pm carol service - with no congregation singing,  a choir inside church, except for the last carol sung outside by those who wish and wearing masks

  *   6pm carol service - with congregation singing held inside church, also with requirement to wear a mask

We've been asked to provide a reader from the bellringers for each of the services, I've offered to do the 6pm service reading - would anyone like to volunteer to represent the tower and read at the 4pm service - please let me know by Friday 26 November ?

Subject: [Cherry-hinton-ringers] Cherry Hinton Service Ringing - December 2021

Dear All,

We are planning to continue to ring for Sunday morning services in December and in addition, Rev. Karin has asked if we would be able to ring for some of the extra Christmas services planned for December (see below). We will not necessarily ring for all of these, it will depend on how many ringers are available. I appreciate that many people may be away or have ringing commitments elsewhere in this busy season.

The additional service times are:

Sunday 19th December - 16:00 and 18:00

Friday 24th December - 16:00

Saturday 25th December - 10:00

We would normally ring for around half an hour, up to 5 minutes before the service, but I will confirm more details with those who are available nearer the time.
