[Cherry-hinton-ringers] Cherry Hinton practice - Tuesday 12 October learn more about ringing evening

Hi All

Quick reminder - we have the 'learn more about bellringing' evening planned for Tuesday 12 October in the usual practice slot.

I've invited those on the expression of interest list from the CH Community Fair held in September along to the tower on that evening - to find out more about ringing, with Ian & Marina on standby to give people a go if they wish.

I can't vouch for how many of the 8 on the list will come along - 3 have said yes for the moment, and I will send a reminder this weekend.

I would still encourage tower members to come along so that ringing can be demonstrated and their is the chance to chat to the visitors etc  although don't expect the practice to run quite as it does normally as the focus will be on the visitors....although if that's all done by 8.30 there might be some time for half an hours ringing at the end.

I won't ask for attendance sign up for this practice - but if you are free and want to come along to support this evening please do and I'd be glad to see you.

PS suggest that people bring a mask which can be worn if necessary, and if you wish, as don't know how visitors will feel about masking /not masking. And the windows / doors will be open so bring warm clothing.
