[Cherry-hinton-ringers] Ringing for CH Royal British Legion centenary commemoration service - Sun 20 Feb from 2pm

Hi All

The Royal British Legion and Cherry Hinton church have now worked on their plans for the Centenary Commemoration Reflection for the Cherry Hinton Branch of the institution, which will be held on Sunday 20 February.

It is expected that a short reflection will be held from around 2pm for about 15 minutes. The request has been made that some service ringing is provided at the end for attendees to listen to for 5 - 10 mins, followed by a short break and then another short burst of ringing over the 2.30pm slot after which the congregation will make their way home to the sound of bells.

This is slightly different to the original plan, but has been designed with the current climate in mind. Congregation attending for the reflection will be encouraged to sit at the front of the church.

 There may be a little variation in timings - but the commitment will probably be between 2pm and 2.40pm to include the ringing, and avoid any to-ing and fro-ing during the reflection (as requested by the church).

If you are available and would like to ring for this, please let me know by end of Sunday 6 February, then I can see where we are with numbers.
