Unfortunate news last month about our tenor bell, but hoping it will be back in action soon enough. As a quick update, Whites bellhangers have provided a quote and may be able to conduct the repair quite soon, although still waiting to fix a date with them. We do however have permission from the Archdeacon of the Ely Diocese, who has kindly sanctioned the repair works. Karin and Clare Stephenson were very helpful in obtaining this - so thanks to them! In the meantime, we are stuck on 5 bells, so be adventurous and find some nice 5 bell methods no one has heard of before and sound interesting (or we can stick with some of our old favourites)! 🙂
