As many of you are aware, as Robert sent round an email last Tuesday, the <b>tenor in Cherry Hinton has a broken gudgeon pin</b>. In discussion with Robert, we have agreed that given such a fault affects the stability of the bell, it would be unwise to continue
 ringing of the remaining 5 bells at least until we have had the situation assessed (and hopefully repaired) by a professional bellhanger. I have been in contact with Whites of Appleton to arrange an inspection, but as yet have not been able to firm up a date
 for this - I'll be following up on Monday.</div>

So, with regret, I think we will have to <b>cancel ringing on Tuesday and Sunday</b> until we know more about a timeline for repair. I shall provide updates on the matter to keep you all aware.</div>
