Well, I suppose it wouldn't be rung if it hadn't been invented, but
surely the reason for its history is that it has so many fascinating
possibilities for compositions starting from such a simple structure.
Triples in particular allows for many different styles.

Here's one I made earlier:

John Pladdys called a peal on Saturday that he claimed as the most
singles in a twin-bob composition to date (274). I had to take up the
challenge.
