Phil,

I've looked at your cyclic method list.

AJWT 3.1.5.1.7.3.7.5 3456712 Rotational 24 Not Pealed
is false in the plain course - perhaps a note to that effect would be
useful.

For your 4-run measure, perhaps a table of the number of 4-runs in an
extent and the average number of 4-runs per row would be a useful
reference. E.g. for triples my count is 192 4-runs, giving 4/105 4-runs in
an average row.
With n bells, run length r, number of forward and backward runs in extent
= 2.(n-r+1).(n-r+1)!

Has this principle been tried?
3.1.5.3.7.5
It has lead-end 2345671 and 24 4-runs in the plain course.
It looks pretty easy to ring - double dodging front and back, plain hunt
from front to back, and Stedman-like work from back to the front - near
whole turn, far point, near point, far whole turn. It is the first 6
changes of Waterloo Bob Triples.

It extends straightforwardly
3.1.5.3.7.5.9.7
84 4-runs

3.1.5.3.7.5.9.7.E.9
208 4-runs
