The same happened to the shortened version of "Cambridge Surprise Major -
The Full Monty" I sent in. It seems perverse that the editors plead for
people to send in material for publication, but anything which is really to
do with changeringing is binned as of insufficient interest to the wider
readership. Surely, the "historical record" argument applied to peal reports
should apply to this type of material as well, as it is even more likely to
get lost.
