But Nelson's Victory isn't regular to start with, so a
legitimate extension must *not* be regular. This gives
plenty of choices on eight bells:

  &-5-1-25-1-34-1-56-1,1
  &-5-1-25-1-34-1-36-1,1
  &-5-1-25-1-34-1-34-1,1
  &-5-1-25-1-4-1-56-1,1
  &-3-1-2-1-34-1-56-1,1
  &-3-1-2-1-34-1-36-1,1
  &-3-1-2-1-34-1-34-1,1
  &-3-1-2-1-4-1-56-1,1
  &-3-1-25-1-34-1-56-1,1
  &-3-1-25-1-34-1-34-1,1
  &-3-1-25-1-4-1-56-1,1

Nelson, by contrast, does not have any legitimate
extensions.

On a related note, can anyone tell me who Woodcock was, and
over whom he was victorious?
