[r-t] Avonlink peal vs cyclic 23-spliced: musical analysis

I've just had a look at the music in the palindromic composition Tony Cox
sent a couple of weeks ago. I thought it would be interesting to compare it
with other rung cyclic 7-part compositions of 23-spliced, and the results
are summarised in the table below. The number of ....5678s etc obviously
applies to ....2345s, ....3456s etc for the top five compositions. The
values of just ....5678s etc are given for the conventional (non-cyclic)
Smith's and Chandler's compositions for reference at the bottom.
The Cox composition looks very neat, and it's interesting to see the musical
score of the Cox composition is considerably higher than the other
compositions. Can the methods be made more interesting, though? There's a
bias towards right-place (10 out of 12), and three Uxbridge-over methods,
two Cambridge-over methods, and two Cassiobury-over methods. As you've got
12 methods to play with, one of each leadhead group might be nice...
I've also included the Sirilic code for the musical analysis at the bottom
of this email. If anyone hasn't come across Sirilic, it's very useful for
proving touches and analysing music. It can be downloaded from:
