For whatever it's worth, the Methods Committee does not appear to use
these codes for relevant differential hunters in their collections.

Seems like it should. A differential hunter with plain bob lead heads
is a little less bizarre than one with some other lead head set. For
example, it can participate in useful, non-course-changing splices
with vanilla plain bob lead head methods.
