I made a brief investigation into cyclic methods on a 9-bell treble
"nearly dodging" plan, and it turns out that Spinning-Jennie style
constructions are possible. I haven't checked the falseness or
compositional possibilites of any of these (so they may be worthless),
but here are some findings.
(In case anyone missed them: "Spinning" cyclic methods are those which
have a traditionally symmetric lead, meaning that the standard leadhead
cannot be cyclic, but are designed in a such way that starting at the
snap magically produces a cyclic row.)
First, a true Double spinning cyclic:

= 145678923
Because it is Double, the lead end (actually the snap of course) is
positive, hence the method has a short course (here four leads).
I looked for alternatives with a full eight-lead course, and it is
possible to achieve this, at the expense of achieving cylic near-misses
rather than true cyclic rows at the half lead. These two seemed pretty
good on paper:

Of any interest to anyone?
