For a few years now the RW Diary has featured an excellent composition of
Y10 by Ben Constant. It's very simple but musical: H W2H 2M2W2H, repeat.
Thing is, it's so simple that I am pretty sure it must have been composed
several times before. I have come across one identical version in the G&B
archives (peal no. 5545), composed by Keith Scudamore in or before 1984,
which must I'm sure pre-date Ben. Ben's version is rotated to start at
Keith's second course, but is basically identical.
Does anyone know of any earlier versions? If not, I think Keith needs to be
given the honours on this one.
