In August 2006 Robert Johnson proved the Crambo Theorem (that every in-course half extent of doubles could be extended to a full extent by the addition of a single change between alternate rows)

By doing this to Stedman Doubles, the unique resulting method is Crambo, first described in the 17th Century.

See Robert's original message here:

In October 2006, Andrew Johnson produced a marvellous in-course 120 of doubles, with every row appearing once at handstroke and once at backstroke. I featured this in my "compositions of the decade", and indeed we rang the method at Cottenham during an outing in July this year). The notation is:

+3.1.3.5.1.3.5.1.3.5.3.1.3.1.3.5.1.3.5.1.3.5.3.5

My question is, can an in-course 120 also be "cramboed up" to a 240?
