There have been quite a few very clever students at MIT who have had a
go at ringing since the MIT Guild was formed quite a while ago now.
Ann & I were living in Massachusetts at the time & were able to go
over to Boston & give Geoff Davies a hand teaching. Some of them got
up to Surprise Major within 12 months but then, after graduation, went
off into the world & all too often did not continue to ring with any
group. If there are any MIT types on this list, they may have access
to who was who
